Registration does NOT include housing or food. Also, as of this writing, there are no heated cabins on site. The weather in May in northern Maryland is notoriously chancy. A cabin bed is $100. You will be placed in a cabin that may have others in it as well. If you are a part of a group that would like to house together, we ask that you all agree on a group name and give us the same group name when you register. We now have TWO TYPES of PRIVATE ROOMS! The first is our traditional White House room. This is a room in the big Victorian house near check-in. They are first-come, first-serve for choice and may be on the first or second floor of the building. You get a room with at least two beds in it and access to a shared hall bath. These rooms are $250 for the entire event. The second is the newly-renovated Fireside Cabins. These cabins have at least two beds in each and an en-suite bathroom (probably, pending completion of construction in winter 2025). They are really nice. They are $300 for the entire event. Just one person in your party should select the private room option, the other selecting "Tent". We guarantee there will be two beds. You may end up in a room with more beds! Please note that cabin beds and private rooms are NOT refundable. We can accommodate a limited number of rvs for a fee of $50 per vehicle. Again, only one person in your party should pay this fee, with any others selecting "Tent". We reserve the right to require rvs to park in the parking field if there isn't room on the basketball court. This determination will be made based upon how many rvs are already parked on the basketball court when you arrive. Or you can tent for no additional fee. Day Passes will be available at the gate, only, $100 cash. You can stay till registration opens the next day on a day pass, though we can't give you a cabin bed. If you bring a tent, we won't yell at you, but you really have to pack up and go first thing the next morning. Pro Tip: If you buy a day pass on Saturday, we won't kick you out till 1 pm Sunday because we don't open check in on Sunday at all! (shhhh, don't tell anyone!) |
The site hires a chef each year to provide meals. They are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions. Meals typically go on sale three months before the event and can be added to your registration at that time.
Join our Coffee Club on site for just $25 per person and enjoy our fabulous coffee service. We include great, low-impact coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and all the fixings. The service is open 24 hours a day. Bring your own mug! Or buy a souvenir mug for an additional $20. For an extra $5, we'll even customize it for you! Because of the uncertain nature of our world, there are no refunds for this event. Should you need to miss the event, we will transfer part of the registration fees (less a $50 per person service fee) to the next year's event. You must cancel by April 25th to be offered this possibility. Otherwise we will not be able to transfer any of your registration to the next year. Thanks for your understanding. If we have to cancel the event for any reason, we will automatically transfer your full registration fee to the next year's event. |
