Rope for Manhandling
Grabbing someone, pushing them up against a wall, down to the floor or onto a bed, and otherwise manhandling him can be an exciting and erotic aspect of BDSM play. Rope can be useful tool for such asymmetrical rough body play, and can put the bottom at a clear physical disadvantage. This beginner-oriented rope class teaches techniques for immobilizing someone so they are still mobile enough to be moved around a room, and how to create handles and attachment points on otherwise slippery bodies. It also demonstrates some techniques for manhandling a tied-up bottom into different positions. The class is especially geared toward situations in which the rope top is physically smaller than the rope bottom, but all can benefit from the techniques taught in this class. Class includes safety and risk information.
Level: Beginner. No rope experience required; all levels are welcome.
Triple-Decker Hip Harness (for Dynamic Suspension)
In this class, students will learn and practice Parker's "triple-decker" hip harness, which is designed for dynamic suspensions. Parker developed this tie in response to two observations during dynamic suspensions: 1) many commonly used hip harness designs (e.g. gunslinger, drum, David Lawrence's X-tie, Klawdya's harness) may shift slightly on the body in the course of dynamic suspension, and 2) ties that go through the groin (e.g. Swiss seat & variations) do stay put, but in various positions can dig into the groin in a way that really sucks. In this class, Parker will teach a hip harness that both stays put during highly dynamic suspensions and also maintains distribution of weight so that the lines do not dig in. Parker has used this tie in highly dynamic suspensions, including end-over-end suspension, and it has never shifted and remains pretty comfortable. No suspension experience is required for this class, and this class is NOT a "how to suspend" class. Intermediate riggers are welcome. Advanced riggers who already know several hip harnesses and have suspension experience may especially appreciate this class, though advanced skills are not required.
Bring: 2-3 ~25-30ft (7.5-9m) lengths of rope.
Stakeout! Outdoor Rope Bondage with Tent Stakes
Create tie-down points outdoors using tent stakes. This class will cover materials and tie-down techniques, and will demonstrate and teach some ties and positions for immobilizing and/or predicament bondage using tent stakes. Participants will then get to use their own creativity to stake out or be staked out.
Bring: Rope. Sunscreen. Bring stakes if you have them, but instructor will have stakes available for participants to use.
