Elementals
The Tribes of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water represent and tend the physical body of the Temple of Venus. Together, these four Tribes form the Elemental Clan, serving as an essential building block for our Fires of Venus rituals.

The Elementals of Air define and maintain the Boundary of the Temple, and we assist the members of our village who come to the Temple with their preparations to enter.
Our tools are the sage bundle, the fan, and the blade. We are the cool breeze; we are the cleansing smoke; we are the kind - or challenging - word.
Do you resonate with ideas like clarify, define, and communicate? Can you not get enough of the smell of sage? Join us in the Temple of Air, and you will tend the gate, smudge people in, challenge them, remind them to think, and remind them to be aware of themselves. Our service to the other Keepers might include carrying a message, giving a hug, or bringing more sage. We'll also be brainstorming Air's offering for Saturday evening's Puja.
How does this serve Venus? Clear perception and clear communication are fundamental requirements for openness, for intimacy, for the sustaiment of connection.
The Elementals of Fire touch all aspects of the Temple of Venus and Her worshippers. Working the fire, you will hold the physical and spiritual core of the Temple for all to see by and that sees all. Shining twofold illumination, those working with the sacred Fire show clearly what is being offered and its shadow.
Experience FoV from inside the Fire ring by serving both the physical and spiritual work surrounding the ritual, including daily Fire in the Soul meditations. Guided by the Keepers of the Fire, you will prepare yourself, the Temple space, and fire offerings. Share what kindles the transformation that has burned for time eternal. We're looking for a few good moths!
A drop of kindness, a wave of love. Join the Elementals of Water within the Temple of Venus and discover your inner naiad.
Water is the element of emotion and flow. Physically, it spreads to fill the farthest reaches of the Temple. Energetically, it is a conduit for the energy of the Temple. Spiritually, it cleanses, rejuvenates, and soothes the Temple community. In addition, Water embodies the spiritual path of sacred service. Its power often remains hidden but it can move mountains and carve canyons.
Within the Temple, the Elementals of Water will provide service to the Temple community, including maintaining the water altar, carrying water to those who need it, and anointing those who wish to receive the blessing of sacred oil. You will facilitate the flow of energy by providing guidance, assistance, and support to the ritual participants. You can also feed the flow by encouraging others to join you in dancing and cavorting.
Elementals of Water will have the opportunity to explore in depth the spiritual path of sacred service as well as become attuned to the element of water. You will learn how to navigate the delicate dance of giving and receiving service. A guided meditation/spiritual journey will take you to the Realm of Water. You will brainstorm and implement ideas to create opportunities for the Temple community to interact with each other (this is our excuse to cavort). Finally, you will be given the opportunity to have a hands-on lesson in the art of making mead.
The Elementals of Earth manifest and embody the love of Venus by creating a place of grounding in the ritual; we are solid, nurturing, and safe. We are the kite string that keeps the kite from flying away. We tend to the physical needs of the whole.
As an Elemental of Earth, you will join together with others who identify with Earth/the earth. Through guided meditation and exercises, you will connect more fully with each other and with the earth, learning to stay grounded while raising energy. This will be carried into the fire circle as we help others to ground. You will also have the opportunity to prepare offerings of food for the fire circle, and to feed this food to the participants.
