Loving Beyond the Dyad: Jealousy, possessiveness, and inclusion in intimate relationships: Having intimate relationships with more than one partner can be ecstatic and
delightful; it can also bring up deep core issues and deteriorate into
awkward relationship patterns. This is not surprising - after all, very few
of us grew up with good examples of how to do multiple relationships well!
In this experiential workshop, we'll look at how dynamics of competition vs. inclusion,
communication styles, and emotional triggering can arise in multi-partner
relationships. Learning more about the dynamics of
multipartnering can also help us see how these same dynamics also play out in
one-on-one relationships, where we may not be as good at spotting them.
Through discussion and experiential exercises, participants will gain
insight into their own relationship styles.
