Spiritual Fire Play For Fun and Ritual Work

Fire Play is Edgy, Dangerous, Showy, Visually Appealing and much more. As one of the 4 primal elements, Fire is used in Rituals all the time. In this Intensive we will look at the history and uses of Fire in Rituals. There will be hands on training for all attendees in 7 different ways to do basic Fire Play, focusing on how and when to use each method both in ritual and non-ritual settings.
Attendees will learn:

• A History of Fire, its meaning and uses in celebrations.
• 7 different ways to do basic Fire Play
• Safety, Safety, Safety and more Safety!
• How to make Fire Batons (attendees will take them home)
• Uses of Flash Cotton, Flash String, and Flash Paper
• Fire Cupping
• Techniques for Fire Flogging and Fire Breathing

XtraSpecial Tom is The Kinky Eagle Scout. The Boy Scouts of America offer the best kink training in the world including Rope, Knives, Fire and First Aid to clean up the mistakes! As a senior in high school he was hog tying freshmen and trying not to burn down the forest. He’s been called an Evil Sadistic Bastard more times than not! He has been active in the BDSM lifestyle for 13 years and involved in the local community at Ohio SMART and PRS for 9 years. He is Chair Person Emeritus of Ohio SMART, having served 5 terms before stepping down in June 2010 to focus more on presenting. Tom has been doing Fire Play for nearly a decade and teaching it for the past 6 years.  Fire Flogging has been added to his list of fiery activities for the past 3 years.

Tom founded the Energy SIG of Ohio SMART and has run it for the last 2+ years. The group has had lots of great speakers come and teach about Cleansing/Grounding/Shielding, Chakras, Animal Totems, Guided Imagery/Meditations, Ghosts, Spirits, Psychic Energy Vampires, Intuitive Healing, Sacred Sexuality, Tantra, Reiki and much more. The group is currently training 12 people as Level 1 Reiki practitioners, Tom included. Tom tends to use energy in his play.

Tom presentations and interests are eclectic and include Fire Play, Rope Bondage, Torturing with Twine, Impact Play, Cell Popping (“Mark Your Partner for Life, or just a little while”), Extreme Caning, Flogging, Sword and Knife Play, Mind F***s, Whips, Medical Play and more. Tom has taught at on these subjects and more for the past 6 years at Ohio SMART and other local, regional, and National events including FOV 2009, Beltane 2010, Shibaricon 2010, CampOUT 2010 and was scheduled to teach at FOV 2010. Tom also does ritual work involving Fire and Fire Flogging.
